iPhoneography Show

3/2/2018

I took this photo in the Rosslyn Metro Station in Arlington, Virginia, as I was on my way into Washington, D.C., for the Women's March in January 2017.  It is part of the SE Center for Photography's iPhoneography Show in Greenville, South Carolina, opening on March 2, 2018, and on view through the end of the month.

Black, White and Monochrome

4/17/2017

A photo I shot quickly at a crosswalk in Paris last year was accepted into the latest show at South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, Massachusetts.  Black|White|Monochrome opens with a reception on April 21 and extends through May 28, 2017, and may be viewed online.  If you happen to stop by the exhibit, please snap a photo for me!

Coming soon to Crystal City Fotowalk

3/10/2017

It makes me laugh that this screaming baby will frown down on visitors and commuters in the Crystal City Underground from now through summer.

This and another photo, along with the work of 77 other photographers, are in Exposed DC's "Art in the Everyday" Fotowalk in the Crystal City Underground. Please take a look when you pass through on your way to Artomatic 2017 or wherever you're headed.

Plastic Camera Show

3/1/2017

I am happy to have a photo selected, for the second year in a row, in Rayko Photo Center's Annual Juried Plastic Camera Show, which opens tonight.

Sadly, this is the last show at the gallery, and unfortunately I wasn't able to be there in person to see it - luckily, photos from the opening are online.  The show runs through April 23, so if you happen to be in San Francisco and are able to stop by, please let me know.

The photo selected from the show (visible here in the upper left corner) is an in-camera multiple exposure taken with a plastic split-lens camera that I borrowed from a friend and never returned.  It was taken in Paris when I visited last year to see a friend and attend the Polaskull opening.

Light Leaked

9/10/2016

One of my instant film emulsion transfer collages was selected for Light Leaked online photography magazine's September 2016 issue, Direct Positive / Polaroids.

The show may be viewed here:
