A photo I shot quickly at a crosswalk in Paris last year was accepted into the latest show at South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Black|White|Monochrome opens with a reception on April 21 and extends through May 28, 2017, and may be viewed online. If you happen to stop by the exhibit, please snap a photo for me!
I am happy to have a photo selected, for the second year in a row, in Rayko Photo Center's Annual Juried Plastic Camera Show, which opens tonight.
Sadly, this is the last show at the gallery, and unfortunately I wasn't able to be there in person to see it - luckily, photos from the opening are online. The show runs through April 23, so if you happen to be in San Francisco and are able to stop by, please let me know. The photo selected from the show (visible here in the upper left corner) is an in-camera multiple exposure taken with a plastic split-lens camera that I borrowed from a friend and never returned. It was taken in Paris when I visited last year to see a friend and attend the Polaskull opening. One of my instant film emulsion transfer collages was selected for Light Leaked online photography magazine's September 2016 issue, Direct Positive / Polaroids.
The show may be viewed here: http://www.lightleaked.com/september-direct-positive--polaroids.html My Polaroid, Winter Garden (Skully), was part of Polaskull's show in Paris and i had the opportunity to attend the opening. |
